In response to the Coronavirus pandemic Tekeurope has swiftly put into place a number of measures in order to protect our staff and customers
Temperature Checks on Entry
All staff are subject to temperature checks on entry to the building and logs kept of the readings, any presenting a temperature above normal range are isolated for a period of time and retested, if the high temperature persists the staff member is sent home to isolate and get tested.
Socially Distanced Workplace
Staff who are able to work from home are currently on a split shift pattern to reduce numbers in the office. All areas of the building including break areas have limitations on the numbers allowed in them at any one time and this is clearly marked with tape and signage. Break times have been staggered to prevent overcrowding of break areas.
Continuous cleaning of shared areas
Whilst every effort is made to prevent desks etc being used by multiple people, in some shared areas such as the canteen this is unavoidable, as such nearby cleaning stations have been set up to clean these areas after an individual uses them before the next one does.
Emphasis on hand hygiene
Handwash stations have been set up around the building and hand sanitiser bottles placed on every desk to allow employees to regularly wash their hands.
Controlled Deliveries and Collections
Delivery and collection of goods is a key part of the business, in order to protect Tekeurope staff and the drivers of our couriers all collections and deliveries are placed at the door with barriers in place to minimise the risk of close contact.
