Due to the pandemic and subsequent Covid restrictions the chances for the Tekeurope team to socialise outside of work have been few and far between. However on Saturday night staff met at Ephesus Restaurant in Torquay to bid farewell and wish good luck to David Mag (pictured above furthest to the right), who is leaving the company after more than 3 years.

David has worked in the Warehouse since 2017 in the goods in department, booking in and quality checking stock as it arrived. During this time he has obtained his forklift license and helped with the company’s move from Totnes.

Due to restrictions numbers were limited at each table but that did little to dampen spirits, with a number of staff currently working from home seeing some other team members for the first time this year.  For the newer warehouse and engineering staff this was their first company night out.

A night of delicious Greek and Turkish food (accompanied by a few alcoholic beverages) began with hot and cold Meze platters. It was then time for the main courses which ranged from kebabs to sea food. The Albanian Liver proved particularly popular as a side.

The staff at the restaurant were fantastic, the service they provided as well as the delicious food made for a great meal. Whilst some headed home after the food others headed into Torquay to continue the evening.

Everyone at Tekeurope would like to thank David for all his hard work and we all wish him well and the best of luck for the future.
