Greetings my name is Conner Barrett, a Sales Assistant employed at Tekeurope, for the past couple of weeks I’ve been using the Asus TUF 7.1 headset and I’d like to share my thoughts on the product.
First and foremost, the audio quality is outstanding. The 7.1 surround sound delivers very immersive audio that allows you to pinpoint the direction of every sound in game. I have, as I’m sure many others, spent the past week enjoying Starfield and the crisp sound of a spaceship coming into land is always a joy.
Comfort is another area where the Asus TUF 7.1 Headset shines. I often spend my free time in long gaming sessions and haven’t once experienced any discomfort while wearing them. The plush ear cushions and adjustable headband ensure a snug and comfortable fit, and I never experienced any discomfort or fatigue, even during long gaming marathons.
Build quality is also impressive. The headset feels robust and durable, and it’s clear that Asus has put a lot of thought into its design. The flexible microphone is a nice touch, and it picks up your voice clearly while being designed to keep any bothersome background noise out.
Another aspect that I personally appreciate is the convenience of use the headset provides. It has built in volume and mic controls, that allow me to quickly adjust my required settings on the go meaning I don’t have to break my experience in order to adjust the same such settings in menus or other volume software with external controls. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference to my personal comfort whilst gaming.
Finally, the headset is fully compatible with several consoles and the PC meaning for anyone who actively games on several machines can universally use this piece of kit. The headphones connect via a 3.5mm audio jack, with an optional splitter included in the box.
