This weekend was Tekeurope’s annual summer teambuilding activity and this year we went to the Bristol Activity Centre. Whilst there we took part in paintballing, quad biking, axe throwing and crossbow shooting. Joining us were some lucky customers from SCC.

Paintballing

The weekend started off with the company playing paintball morning, participating in 10 different matches. The game modes included Team Death Match, Zombies, and King of the Hill to name a few.  After the teams were split into 2 team captains were selected from each side with Aiden Barrett leading the red team and Jon Davis leading the blue team. Due to great team tactics and skill the red team eventually won the overall event but both teams played well and had a great time in the process, with everyone left with a funny story or 2 to tell.

Crossbow Shooting & Quad Biking

After the paintballing the group was split again in to 2 groups, with half going quad biking and the other group participating in crossbow shooting. In the Crossbow shooting Joe Simpson provided to be the ‘Legolas’ of our time as he won the medal for being the closest to the target when challenged.  In the Quad Biking salesman Gary Widdicombe got his medal for some very “interesting” driving to say the least.

Axe throwing

To finish off the day of activities the two groups then went on to try their hand at some axe throwing. Each group had the opportunity to throw a variety of weapons including 1 and 2 handed axes as well as knives. After each of the groups became more confident in their abilities they were then tasked with a challenge. This challenge essentially had everyone involved throw their axes at the targets and anyone who missed the target would be out, so the last person standing would win. The winners of these challenges were John Barrett and Logan Campbell, meaning that Tekeurope took home all the day’s challenge medals.

Bristol Curry House

After a brief visit to the hotel to freshen up the team then headed to Bristol Curry House for their evening meal. Below are photos taken at the venue of staff enjoying what everyone agreed was fantastic food.
