Back in March 2020 when we found ourselves spending a lot more time at home, we decided to start a Film Club between the staff at Tekeurope. The club not only allows us a chance to perhaps watch films that are outside of our usual genres, but it also helps to keep us all in contact during these strange times.
The Rules
The rules are simple, each round we select two films to enter. These are then voted on to decide which ones we must watch. Each member watches the chosen films and gives them scores for several different categories. Based on the scores, the films are given a star rating and are placed on our film leader board.
In the spirit of keeping things fresh, some months are themed. In previous months we have had theme such as featuring Sean Connery, Christmas, and Halloween.

After a longer than usual break Tekeurope Film club was back with 1976 Action Drama Taxi Driver. Whilst the response was somewhat mixed, the film did score well for its acting and story giving it 3 stars and a place in the top 50.

A change of pace for Film Club this week with a trip to the cinema to see newly released blockbuster No Time To Die, the latest James Bond movie and Daniel Craig’s final outing as the spy. The film was extremely well received all round and narrowly missed out on the top spot in the leaderboard, instead placing 2nd.
