Congratulations to John Mag on reaching 10 years at the company

The start of August saw Engineering Team Leader John Mag celebrate 10 years at the company. Starting on the 1st of August 2011 he has worked the entirety of this time in the engineering department and has been a major influence in its transformation and growth.

Whilst initially only interviewing for a technician position his knowledge of testing and repairing IT components saw him hired as an engineer. Alongside this work John’s role has involved him helping with the more technical queries Tekeurope’s customers and sales staff have.

Over the course of the 10 years John has helped shape and improve test, repair and quality control processes within a department that continues to grow in both numbers and scope. He has trained apprentices that are still at the company as full time time engineers with a new intake currently being trained. As for the department itself it now provides a range of repairs and services far beyond what it could offer a decade ago. 2 promotions have also followed over the years, first to Senior Engineer and more recently to Engineering Team Leader.

He was joined at the company back in 2017 by his brother David who has recently left after more than 3 years working in the warehouse.

The last 10 years have seen a lot changes at Tekeurope, there has been huge expansion and progress and John has played no small part in this.  We would all like to thank him for his dedication and hard work over the last decade.
