To coincide with this year’s Golden Globe awards, Tekeurope film club held its very own Connery Awards (named in honour of the late actor Sean Connery). The films included were all those watched by the film club over the last year up to and including Diamonds Are Forever.
The big winners included Schindler’s List which picked up 6 Connerys, The Dark Knight Rises that won 4 and The Nightmare Before Christmas with 2.
There were 2 lifetime achievement awards, one for Sean Connery himself and Morgan Freeman who was picked from a list of nominees.
