Tekeurope is pleased to announce that we are now authorised to operate as a customs warehouse in the UK. This new authorisation allows greater supply chain efficiency and flexibility with the process of moving goods simplified.
Since the UK voted to leave the EU back in 2016 Tekeurope has undertaken a number of measures to ensure customers in both areas continue to receive the same high level of service. This included the opening of our Spanish distribution centre at the beginning of 2022.
Staff at the company have also undergone training both in house and externally with the help of a customs brokerage firm, ensuring efficient processes for the import and export of goods are in place. This has allowed Tekeurope to continue serving our business customers as before as well as being able to offer duty paid shipping to end users through the tekeurope.co.uk online store. The customs warehouse authorisation represents the latest step in this ongoing commitment.
