In the summer of 2021, the UK government introduced new right to repair regulations. With this it introduced a new eco-design and labelling, with the aim of increasing producer responsibility and reduce energy usage and electrical waste. This way it helps customers to identify the most energy efficient products. This was all done by the government following the UK leaving the EU, to have their own rules with a similar principle.

So what did that mean to us?

The new right to repair regulations mean that we as ‘professional repairers’ with access to spare parts and technical information. This means that manufacturers of monitors and other electronic displays that we sell will have to be able to supply us spare parts and technical information.

With this we will be able to repair products but with efficiency as well as making the process an eco-friendlier one. This also means that energy labels will be changing from the standard ‘A+++’ ratings to the new ‘A to G’ format that the UK will now be using.

So what did that mean to you?

With us having access to more spare parts that also means that you will too. Yet if you are not someone who is able to repair products then that is fine as our engineers will be able to repair the products for you. Not only will more spare parts be available, but our engineers will have access to more manuals thanks to the right to repair legislation, this means will be able to offer technical support on more products and lot more efficiently. So in short:

  • More tech support
  • Access to more spares
  • Reliable repairs
  • Continued support
