December and the run up to Christmas is traditionally a busy time at Tekeurope. Orders continue as normal with many going to fulfil maintenance contracts, in addition there are other items to ship including gifts. This is of course also a time of year when many staff will take annual leave and when there can be delays with couriers due to the increased number of parcels being shipped around the country. All of this can contribute to a challenging time of year for staff in the warehouse.
Whilst everyone has worked hard through December we would like to say thank you to Warehouse Goods Out Team Leader Tom Heyworth. During what has been an extremely busy month Tom has been Tekeurope’s standout employee. Despite lower than normal staff levels Tom has gone the extra mile, ensuring all shipments were made on time whilst also assisting other members of the warehouse team and sales staff.
As well as the Christmas hampers received by all staff this month, Tom has also been given Amazon vouchers as a bonus to say thank you.
