Tekeurope is pleased to once again support the Torbay Good Will Fund. Whilst the company donated food back in 2018 the last few years have seen cash donations due to pandemic restrictions. This year food was delivered to the charity’s centre in nearby Paignton.
About the fund
Staffed entirely by volunteers, the fund has now been running for 8 years. They distribute hampers containing food for Christmas dinner and other Christmas treats such as mince pies to vulnerable families in the local area. In addition they also ensure that every family member receives a wrapped gift.
According to the group’s gofundme page in 2021 they provided 90 Christmas hampers to local families. Against a background of high inflation and a rise in the cost of living unprecedented in recent times, the help they provide will be more important and in demand than ever this year.
