We would like to offer our congratulations to Tekeurope Engineer Guy Reid for recently successfully completing his apprenticeship. Guy, who started with the company back in 2021, recently obtained his Infrastructure Technician Level 3 certification after studying for the qualification through South Devon College.
The role of an Infrastructure Technician as described on the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) website is to “Set people up on Information Technology (IT) systems, provide support and solve problems to help organisations run smoothly.” As a result the course focussed on a broad range of IT skills and subject areas. These included networking, operating systems and computer system architecture. In addition it offered more business specific aspects including compliance with business processes and practical business IT skills.
Tekeurope employs a number of staff in full time roles across the Sales, Workshop, Finance and Warehouse departments who started out at the company as apprentices. More new apprentices have also recently began their qualifications.
Once again we would like to congratulate Guy for passing his course and thank him for his hard work.
