To coincide with the arrival of new Lenovo Go product lines in our online store, Tekeurope Finance Assistant Charlie Miarowski has been trying out the Lenovo Go Active Noise Cancelling Headset. He gives his thoughts below.

Tested with frequent Microsoft Teams calls, the Lenovo Go Wired ANC Headset has lived up to its expectations. The headset has a noise cancellation setting that enables you to hear clearly without any outside noise, useful with meetings taking place on different days and in different surroundings. This is ideal for fellow remote workers or even those based in the office.

With a push of the Teams button on the small control pad the Teams app is loaded on whichever device you have the headphones plugged into. This is a handy feature which helps limit constantly having to use your mouse to direct yourself around your computer. The headset is universal with the mic able to rotate 180 degrees so you can have the mic on the left or right side. When the mic is in the upright position it becomes automatically muted, with a message coming through your headset to notify you with the mute button also becoming lit up on the control pad. Pressing this button allows the automatic mute feature to be overridden. Lastly on the control pad there is a phone button which signals you are in a call (green light), you can also end the call by pressing this button. On the side the volume and noise cancellation switches are located for quick and easy use, helping to avoid navigating through your PC mid-meeting.

Overall, the Lenovo Go Wired ANC Headset is a comfortable headset with some cool little features. It’s lightweight and sits nicely over your ears for maximum comfort for the duration of your calls. With extendable arms the headset can be adjusted depending on the size required. The headset is a modern wired headset with a USB-C cable, but the box comes with a USB-C to USB-A adaptor so the headset can be used on most models and systems.
